I was introduced to photography when I was a young child, and was given my first film camera on my 7th birthday. Every holiday I went on I took my camera and captured hundreds of photographs. When we got back home I developed them.... I became hooked!

Erskine College, Island Bay, Wellington
Island Bay's Erskine College was built in 1905-1906 by the Society of the Sacred Heart.
The buildings served as a Catholic girls' boarding school (Convent of the Sacred Heart at Island Bay) until its closure in 1985. The name was changed to Erskine College in the late 1960s to avoid confusion with Sacred Heart College, Lower Hutt.
Erskine College buildings were used as an Art School up until late 2009, during this time I had the opportunity to be a student and staff member at the campus.
This selection of photographs were taken between 2001 and 2009.
